Joette had a deep love for animals, particularly dogs and cats. She was a fan of thrilling, spooky movies and found joy in playing Bingo. An avid reader, she also loved playing a variety of games, especially with her family. Above all, family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Shawn Martin; Sons, Brian Hartman (Corie) & Chris Hartman (Erica); Grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Kirsten, Brianna, Josiah, and Bailey; Great-grandchildren, Adrian, Isla, and Charlie; Siblings, Tina, David, and Robert; niece and caregiver, Gwen; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Joette is preceded in death by her parents, James Voignier and Deloris Sargent; and Sister, Cindy Knotts.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19th at Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany IN 47150) from 4pm-8pm. Her funeral service will be Thursday at Kraft Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
