John D. Craig, Jr., 69 years of age passed away on January 22, 2022 at his home. He was born June 14, 1952 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late John D. Craig, Sr. and Minnie (Akin) Knight. John was an United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, American Legion, and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife 34 years, Roberta (Koerber) Craig; children, Jennifer Trich (Kenny), Kyle Craig (Kelli); brothers, Jimmy Craig (Sandy), Kenny Craig (Anna); grandchildren, Samantha, Noah (Allie), Justin, Zachary, Hunter, Kelby, Teddy, and Katherine.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 8310 St. John Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119. The family requests that anyone attending the funeral wear a fishing shirt and blue jeans to honor John.
