John Andrew Goodale

John Andrew Goodale, 68, of Lanesville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. John was born July 15, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William and Margaret Goodale. He retired from Sears Appliance Repair Division and in retirement continued to work part time for Sears in Corydon. He is a member of Graceland Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Goodale, Charles Goodale and George Goodale. John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Denise; children, Shawn (Keeley) Goodale, Jeromey Goodale and Kelly Goodale; grandchildren, Sophia (Timmy) West, Lydia Cunningham, Kaden Cunningham, Kailey Goodale, Katelyn Goodale, Jaylen Goodale, Jeromey Goodale Jr. and Aaliyah Goodale; one great-grandson, Lincoln West; siblings, James Goodale, Joey Goodale, Mary (Wade) Hehr and Mike Goodale; two sister-in-laws, Brenda Goodale and Debbie Goodale as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with funeral service at 3:00 pm. Private entombment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to St. Vincent DePaul Society or the American Cancer Society.
