John G. Ryan

John G. Ryan, 86 years of age passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Clarksville, Indiana. John was born January 7, 1929 to the late William and Helen Ryan. He was a 1946 graduate of New Albany High School and was a retired billing department manager for Henry Vogt in Louisville. He enjoyed working on his farm and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John J. Ryan; twin brother, Joe Ryan; brother, Bill Ryan; and sister, Norma Adwell.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Funk (Tom); step-daughter, Elaine Olsen; daughter-in-law, Libby Baird Ryan; sister, Margie Rhodes; grandchildren, Ryan Funk, Melissa Babbs (Travis), Johnny Ryan (Mandy), Joey Ryan (Megan), Rachel Olsen; great grandchildren, Ayla Ryan, Eden Ryan, Charleigh Ryan, Alek Babbs, Brayden Babbs, Casen Babbs, John A. Ryan, and Madelyn Abel.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
