I was in shock and I did not want to believe what my brother heard on the scanner Sun. afternooon and I didn't know how to tell my family whom I called. Thank you for being papaw to my grandchildren when no one else was there. They are so lucky to have known you. I saw good come from them being part of your life and I know good will come from the loss of you. RIP JP.

John Poole was well liked and always had a good word to say to people he met. We had mutual friends and enjoyed each others company. The last time I seen John was at a gathering PRP had at Mike lining's a couple of years ago. He came up and spoke to me. It was good to see everyone that was there. ,and especially those you were around and got to know when you were 11or 12 yrs.old. John will be missed by those who knew him. God Bless John and his family. Jerry Hiser

We love you pops! You are missed so much. Thank you for always being a second father to me. All the kiddos admired you and the person you are. They talked about your song “Diggin up bones” and all the ways you made them smile. How you always made the time for them and how much you mean to them. Emma said God picked the most special flower when he chose you and she sure was right about that. You were an amazing husband, father, and grandfather and your legacy lives on in Ben and the grandkids. Love ya pops
