Joseph G. "Joe" Gronotte

JOSEPH G. "JOE" GRONOTTE, 53 years of age, died Saturday, October 12, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY. Joe was born November 24, 1960 in Evansville, IN to Albert and Rosemary Gronotte. He worked in the construction industry, was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Cardinal Ritter Council Knights of Columbus both in New Albany, and enjoyed working with the Monday Night Crew at Providence High School. Joe was preceded in death by his father Albert Gronotte.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle E. “Micki” (Ringer) Gronotte; sons, Michael A. Gronotte of New York NY, Jonathan A. Gronotte of New Albany IN and Stephen J. Gronotte of New Albany IN; mother, Rosemary Gronotte of New Albany IN; grandchildren, Brayden and Riley; siblings, Cindy Bauder of FairfaxVA, Danny Gronotte (Mary) of Lanesville IN, Jane Ann Wright (Greg) of New Albany IN and John Gronotte of New Albany IN.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
