Jody Hall was my step father for more than half of my life. He raised me from 2 years old and taught me how to become a man. He took me in and loved me like I was his own son. Eventhough I wasn’t a blood relative, he nor Marc, Jody, Jr or Stacie ever made me feel like I wasn’t part of the family. I’m very saddened to learn of his passing and send every one of the family members my sincerest of condolences. I can only hope that this message finds all of you well and please know that through this process I am here for you. I cannot be there personally as I live in Tampa, FL now and didn’t learn of his passing until yesterday. Otherwise, I would have been there. I hope that one day we can meet again and that you Rest In Peace Pop. Love Always.

Very sad to learn of Jody’s passing. Tons of memories with him at the Clarksdale Park, but mostly at the Friday Night teen dances at the gym in Clarksdale. I can imagine seeing him with Lucien Young and Donny Scott BONGO stomping together around Heaven, just like they did on Friday nights back in the sixties.

RIP Good friend.
