

Joseph C. Kuerzi Sr. passed on May 7, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 6, 1939 to the late Constantine Joseph Kuerzi and Catherine Buckman Kuerzi. He was the owner of Falls City Sprinkler Inc. and after his retirement, he was a greeter with Bass Pro Shop. Joe was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, a member of The Gruetli Helvetia Society and was a veteran in the United States Army. Joe was a lifetime member of the NRA, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and numerous other hunting organizations.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Matilda Kuerzi; and a brother, David Patrick Kuerzi.
Joe is survived by his wife of 66 years, Diann Marie Nuss Kuerzi; three children, Jeanne Fisher (Doug), Joseph Kuerzi Jr. (Angela) and Tawana Moyer (Don); grandchildren, Cole Fisher (Alisha), Dr. Joshua Fisher (Lindsey), Dylan Fisher, Nolan Fisher, Joseph "Trey" Kuerzi III (Hannah), Jordan Kuerzi, Cameron Kuerzi, Drew Kuerzi (Jessicka), Hannah Moyer and Hunter Moyer; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, on May 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at Kraft Funeral Service at 3:00 pm on May 14, 2026 with entombment at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
