Joyce was retired from Ford Motor Company after 34 years and was a member of UAW Local #862. She also was a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include sons, Robert Tellman Birmingham, AL and Lee Hughes Jr. , New Albany; daughter, Beth Leftwich (Dan), Borden, IN; brother, Billie Bowman, Cub Run, KY; and grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Miller, Kyle Leftwich and Ryan Leftwich.
Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Kraft Chapel.
