Judith D. "Judy" (Lopp) Banks, 82, passed away on May 28, 2025, in New Albany, Indiana. Judy was born in New Albany, Indiana, on July 13, 1942, to the late James E. Lopp and Wanda J. (Johnson) Lopp. Judy retired from General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky. She enjoyed spending her time at the American Legion on Grantline Road signing karaoke and she loved to shop until she dropped.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray L. Banks; a daughter, Veronica S. (Wimp) Morgan; a son, John D. Lopp; and sisters, Joann Dunz and Tonja Lopp.
Judith is survived by her children, Pamela (Wimp) Griffin and Robert G. Wimp Jr.; a brother, Rick Lopp; grandchildren, Daniel Griffin, Jennifer and Jessica Morgan; four great grandchildren, and many extended family.
A Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Her Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with a private entombment to be held at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
