I grew up with Katie in elementary school. We quickly became friends, and she became a close family friend soon after. We all loved her! She had the bubbliest personality. She always welcomed you as a friend even if she didn't know you. I can hear her now, "HEYYYYYY šŸ˜!!!!" She had an attitude that would lift up a room. So much spunk and personality. And that smile!!!! She always had such a big smile on her face. We're all gonna miss you Katie. You are loved by SOOOO many. I love you! ā¤

I had the pleasure of working with Katie and her Little Sister for several years as their case manager while they were in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. Katie was an incredibly dedicated volunteer - personable, caring, and down to earth. And I remember her sunny and upbeat attitude. She was a wonderful role model and she expressed to me several times that even as her Little Sister grew up she would "always be her big sister." From all of us here at the Kentuckiana agency, we send our deepest condolences on the loss of a phenomenal young woman. We're honored to have Katie as a part of our organization, and saddened to hear of her loss.

My beautiful cousin...I love you Katie we shall get down and boogie when it's my turn to dance my way over to the other side with you!! You ve always been there for me and helped me when at my lowest points of life, and you, not one time, criticized or judged me . You were always there with a helping hand and said you loved me and that's just one reason why so many people were friends with her, or at least knew of her... especially from high school. It s the way she s always treated people. Love you lots!!

Katie T: You were my best "roadie" friend. As soon as we met, we just clicked. You would laugh at ALL my jokes - so that made me just keep em coming. You literally always were in a good mood and had a smile on your face which is why you CRUSHED IT as a server. I remember going to your graduation at Ivy Tech and sitting with your parents, sister and brother-in-law. They absolutely treated me just like family. Even after I moved to Indy, we kept in touch for a little while. The last time we spoke was in 2017 (crazy - the last time i've been in Louisville) of which I regret we lost touch. Eric treated you like the Queen you are and i'm really struggling to understand this one. To her parents: you raised just the best girl. My heart breaks for you. Prayers for the family during this time, may God comfort you during this process.

I met Katie through a mutual friend. They both made my daughter feel at home at NAHS. Katie could light up a room, and never saw her without that beautiful smile!!! Katie you are so loved by so many, and will be missed. Sending prayers to her husband and her family, may you find peace in all the great memories you have.
