Katie Belle Mitchell Sisk, 94 years of age passed away Wednesday, June 29, at Wellington Parc, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born July 4, 1921, in Ardmore, TN, and lived in Hardinsburg, KY for some 39 years before moving to Owensboro in 2000. Katie was a member of Christ Community Church. Preceding her in death in 2009 was her husband Carter Sisk.
Survivors include:
Three Daughters: Janice McCracken (Ken) of Portland, OR; Jackie McCracken (Ron) of Owensboro, KY; and Denise Shuff (Matt) of Dallas TX.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm Saturday July 2nd, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday July 2nd, 2016 at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
