Brandi & Matthew:
I’m so sorry to hear about Kenny’s passing. I don’t know if you remember me. I was the youth Ministry Coordinator at St Mary’s. I think I met you & Kenny once or twice. But I knew your son Matthew. He’s always got me to laugh. You all are in my prayers. May God bless you.

Dear Brandi & Family,

I've never met you all, but please know I sure loved my amazing friend Kenny. I am devastated to lose him. He was such a ray of sunshine in my life and in the lives of those of us who knew him.

Kenny was always kind and caring...supportive and thoughtful. His goal was to make our days brighter and to be an encourager.

In my work, that's hard to find. But, Kenny always wanted to let me know how appreciated I was and that I made a difference.

While that always warmed my heart, what really made me smile was how much he LOVED each one of you! Like I said - you don't know me but wow...I feel like I know each of you.

You all were his true happiness. I've never met a man who loves his wife and kids more. Seriously...you were his pride and joy.

The last time I saw him, he talked about the holidays and spending time with you all. It made him feel such comfort and serenity.

I am so very sorry he is gone...I am sorry for me and those of us who were blessed to be his friend. But more so, I am so very sorry for each of you.

I wish I had answers. I wish I could change it. I wish I could turn back the clock and have him here again. I've cried so many tears since learning he passed away.

My deepest condolences. Please know I am sending you each my love & I care about you with all my heart. You each are in my prayers.

Love & prayers,
Melissa Goforth
