52 years of age died Friday December 16, 2016 with her family at her side at the Hosparus In Patient Care center in Louisville, KY. Lana was born August 30, 1964 in New Albany to Colen Gene and Matilda B. (Graf) Cooke. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Mary's and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. Lana loved spending time with her family and her grandson Jackson as well as shopping and dining. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her friends and family. She was a member of the Church on the Rock and was preceded in death by her father Colen Gene Cooke and brother William "Bill" Gene Cooke. Survivors include: Daughter Emily M. Yost, grandson Jackson Yost, mother Matilda B. (Graf) Cooke, brothers Larry Joe Cooke (Shannon) and Ronnie Cooke (Debbie) as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday December 21st, at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel. Burial will held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
