Larry W. Helbig

Larry was born December 17, 1951 in New Albany to the late Bill and Eleanor Klein Helbig and was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Louisville. He was a member of the U.A.W., St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Klein.

Survivors include siblings, Joyce Hagest (Sam) Borden, IN, Donna Helbig, Laconia, IN, Jerry Helbig (Sally), Clarksville, Susan Troncin (Jerry) New Albany, IN and Judy Bearden (Rob) Clarksville; 12 nieces and nephews, Brian, Lori, Denise, Dawn, Steve, Chris, Ashley, Taylor, Michelle, Butch, Leigh and Hope; and seven great-nieces and nephews, Logan, Wesley, Lucas, Nicole, Christopher, Alex and Connor.

Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. Funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Kraft's.
