Larry Lee Highland, 71 years of age passed away at his home on February 27, 2019. He was born October 28, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Burgoyne and Verna (Amerine) Highland. Larry was retired from Mother’s Cookies in Louisville. He was a member of DePauw Masonic Lodge #338 in New Albany where he was a past Master and the current Chaplain, a member of Tri-County Shrine Club in Clarksville where he was a past President and current Treasurer, member of Teamsters Local #783 where he was a former Chief Union Steward, and a member of Murat Shrine in Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Highland; children, Laura Flint (Robert), Travis Carter (Juanita), Troy Carter (Jessica), Heather McCormick (Christopher); 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm Sunday and 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be 12:00 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. An Eastern Star service will take place at 4:45 pm Sunday followed by a Masonic Service at 5:00 pm Sunday.

There are not enough words or memories to express the amazing Person ... Gentleman...Friend ... Brother...That was in our lives and touched so many. So we want to say Larry RIP we know God has a special plan for you with him.Please as we know you will look down a d take care if Donna and all your love ones .We shall hang our Masonic flag in your honor this week and as the wind blows we shall know you are Friend are looking after us too.
