LaVon K. Zeller, 99 years of age passed away on June 18, 2021. She was born on July 27, 1921 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Edwin William and Birdie Alma (Keach) Livingston. LaVon retired from Census Bureau in Jeffersonville. Along with her parents, LaVon was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Zeller, brother, John Edwin Livingston, and sister, Tincy Schmidt.
She is survived by her children, Joyce Lynne Freiberger (Omer), Dr. Charles L. Zeller, Jr. (Pam), Vaughn L. Zeller, Carol Norrington (Glenn), Janice Pyles (Chuck); sister, Thelda Mathews; grandchildren, Amy, Aaron, Austen, Ryan, Brooke, Lindsay, Eric, Emily, Sarah; great grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel, Jake, Chase, Sam, and Remi.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
