Leila C. (Hardsaw) Peyton-Burt, 74, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana passed away peacefully October 18, 2021 at Woodland Hills Care Center. Leila was born to the late William H. and Thelma (Kopp) Hardsaw Sr. of Hamburg, Indiana. She graduated Silver Creek High School in 1965, a homemaker, gardener, avid reader and devout Christian.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her second husband Marvin A. Burt; her daughter Amy D. Unsworth; step son Marvin M. Burt; three brothers, Donald, William "Billie" and Newell; and a sister, Janet.
Leila is survived by her son Trent (Joan) Peyton; her daughter, Jeana (David) Mastruserio; her step son, C. Shawn Burt; her five step daughters, Sandra Richert, Pamela Burt, Deborah Tyler, Donna Sanders and Melissa Burt; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
No visitation. A private service and burial will be held on Saturday for the immediate family.
