Leo F. Klein, 83 years of age died Thursday April 5, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born May 30, 1934 to the late Leo and Ethel (Deweese) Klein and was the former owner/operator of Charles A. Deweese House Cleaning Company in Southern Indiana. He was an Army Veteran and former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany, a member of VFW Floyd County Post #3281, Knights of Columbus, and an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Shamar Bush. Survivors include wife of 61 years Ida (Lynch) Klein; six daughters Shirley Tidwell, Pam Dauby (Leo). Sharon Kern, Brenda Miller, Cyndi Morgan (Rob), and Jennifer Jantzen (Mark); 12 grandchildren Michelle (Matt), Melissa, Nathan (Tammi), Nancy, Nikki, Ashley, Katie, Brian, Chris, Jenny, Curtis and Corrina; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters; Shirley Stiller, and Carolyn Blunk (John); and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday, April 8, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with Military Honors. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. I never had the pleasure or honor to meet Leo but after reading countless messages to my sis in law Cyndi i can see he was very loved and appreciated and made big differences in alot of lives including my brother Steve Morgan...Im praying for family and friends and May God bless you all with his Mercy, Grace and Love.
