Leonore Gastineau Huckleberry, 90 years of age passed away on December 30, 2020, at Sunrise of Springfield Retirement Home in Springfield, Virginia. She was born on October 27, 1930, in Linton, Indiana, to the late Henry and LaVeda Gastineau. Leonore was a member of Culbertson Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Huckleberry.
She is survived by her children, Jamie Peek (Doug), David Huckleberry (Judy); sister, Lesta Watson (Leland); brother, Don Gastineau (Joanne); 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
