Lillian Esther Mowry-Riddle "Lily", age 77, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Lily was born in Sioux City, Iowa on February, 10th, 1947 to the late Richard Mowry and Ethel Mae Wesley-Howard. She married at 14 years of age to her loving husband Roy C. Riddle Jr. and they were happily married for 53 years until his death in 2015. Lily earned her GED and then graduated from Ivy Tech College and would go on to work for Dr. Andrew Mickler ENT for over ten years. She loved to spend time with her loving family and her hobbies' included traveling, music, needle point, crochet, and reading.
Lily is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 53 years, Roy C. Riddle Jr.; brother, Bill Howard; and her grandson, Jeremy H. Meyer.
Lily is survived by her children, Robin (Duke) Meyer, Roy (Pam) Riddle III, John (Shannon) Riddle, Charles (Sandy) Riddle, Christopher (Bonnie) Riddle; her 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation for Lillian will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.
