Linda L. Sapp

Linda L. Sapp, 79, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away at her residence on September 27, 2026. Linda was born on December 29, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Haldean Burns and Lillian (Pate) Shaffer. Linda spent all of her life in southern Indiana. She worked as a beautician, a profession that allowed her to connect with and care for many people throughout the years. Linda will be remembered for the kindness she showed to others, all animals, and for the lasting friendships she formed throughout her life.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Donald Sapp; her brother, Donald Shaffer; and her sister, Mary Ann Abrams.

Linda is survived by her brother, Mark Shaffer, and extended family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Linda's ashes will be buried at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for expressions of sympathy to be made to her church, the Church of Reconciliation, P.O. Box 129, Palmyra, Indiana 47164.
