Loren L. Mann

LOREN L. MANN, 98 years of age, died Thursday, April 5, 2012. The son of the late Clifford E. and Maggie N. (Cline) Mann, Loren was born July 2, 1913 in Corydon, Indiana. Loren was a U.S. Army Veteran and received the Purple Heart after being wounded during WWII. He retired from the Naval Ordnance in 1975 and also worked for Goodyear. Loren was a member of the Charlestown Church of Christ in New Albany. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nora A. (Quebbeman), and a brother, Vernon L. Mann. Survivors include one niece, two nephews and and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be 1:00 pm Tuesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
