Louis "George" Boss Jr.

LOUIS "GEORGE" BOSS, JR., age 57, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. The son of Margie L. (Schelling) and the late Louis G. Boss, Sr., George was born April 25, 1955 in Louisville, Ky. George worked 35 years for Bunton Lawn & Turf Company which later became Greenlee Textron Company. He was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Navilleton and member of Local 110 Sheet Metal Workers Union. George was a handyman and loved to fish. He was very lovable and touched the lives of many. George never complained and fought his battle with cancer until the very end. The family would like to thank the nurses at the Cancer Care Center in New Albany for their special care and compassion.

Survivors include his wife, Carol (Coffey) Boss; mother, Margie Boss; children, Connie Mae King and Christopher Louis Boss;

siblings, Michael W. Boss (Shea), Dennis L. Boss, Teri R. Ballew, Lisa M. Combs (Brian) and Susan L. Riddle; beloved dog,

Snickers; 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. There will be a Rosary Service at 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

His Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Navilleton with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
