Marcella B. (Rightor) Nelson, 91 years of age died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana. She was born February 14, 1923 in Louisville, KY to the late Russell and Agnes Rightor. Marcella was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany and the VFW Post 1693 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth C. Nelson and her siblings, Russel Rightor, Theresa Davis, Charles Rightor, Edward Rightor, and Mary Heitzman.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
