Margaret I. Waggoner Boofter

MARGARET I. (WAGGONER) BOOFTER, 91, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. The daughter of the late Forrest D. and Edna May Crawford Waggoner, Margaret was born February 12, 1923 in Indiana Harbor, Indiana. She was a member of Morton Memorial Methodist Church, Bright Star 532 Order of Eastern Star, and was a charter member of the Apet Shrine Guild. Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Boofter, and brothers, Ralph and Richard Waggoner.

Survivors include her children, Thomas J. Boofter, Sr. (Sandy), Carol Lee Boofter and Peggy Sue Kimmel (Kevin); brother, George Waggoner; sister, Carol Lee Johnston; grandchildren, Thomas J. Boofter, Jr. (Aleah) and Emily Byrd (William); and great grandchildren, Emma, Eveline, Nathaniel and Jane.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 11th and after 12:00 pm Wednesday, March 12th at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
