

Margaret was a medical technologist with Our Lady of Peace Hospital and formerly worked at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and loved gardening, golf, needlework and her pet dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Tarr; and a son, Jackie Tarr.
Survivors include: children, Sam Stephens (Susan) of Mercer Island, WA, Donna Stucker (David) of Midway, KY, David Stephens (Jeanette) of Louisville, Jeanette Willyard (Richard) of Floyds Knobs, IN and Patricia Van Fossen (Louis) of Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Evalene Tarr of Floyds Knobs; nine grandchildren, Diana, Jesse, Sophia, Marissa, Vickie, Becky, Annalisa, Cathy, and Sherri; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren .
Visitation will be noon-6 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. Her funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.
