Marilyn F. Baker Gettelfinger

Marilyn F. (Baker) Gettelfinger, 89 years of age died Monday July 13, 2015. Marilyn was born March 29, 1926 in New Albany, Indiana to the late George C. and Pearl (Dropsey) Baker. She was the widow of Herbert Gettelfinger to whom she was married for some 55 years. Marilyn was employed at Public Service Indiana for 39 years until her retirement and was a lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana. Preceding her in death was her parents, husband and a sister Margaret Sappenfield. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Autumn Woods Health Campus for their loving and attentive care.

Survivors include Norman and Vi Eve, Howard and Delores Gettelfinger, Kenneth and Sharon Gettelfinger, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 15th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00am Thursday, July 16th at Kraft Funeral Service 708 E. Spring St. in New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana with burial in the church cemetery.
