Martha A. (Austin) Adam, 86, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021. The daughter of the late Charles K. and Katherine I. (Bocar) Austin, Martha was born May 25, 1935 in New Albany, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Adam; son, Herbie Adam; and daughter, Becke Adam.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Kedrick “Rick” Adam-Hammack (Amanda) and Mikayla Sumner (Ronnie Crady); 4 great grandchildren; sister, Gayla Akers; and a great grandson on the way.
Visitation will be 1 pm ~ 4 pm Sunday, November 14th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany IN. Her Funeral Service will be 4 pm Sunday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private interment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
