Martha Jane Hackins, 78, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her home. She was born on November 22, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana. She attended New Hope Day Services for over 20 years and was of the Christian faith. She loved to paint and write poetry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John William Lewis and Lena Lewis.
She is survived by numerous friends and her roomates for over 25 years.
A visitation for Martha will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
