Martin was a proud veteran who served 22 years in the United States Army and the Indiana National Guard. He dedicated more than 24 years of his career to LabCorp, where he was a valued and dedicated employee.
More importantly, he was an amazing father. Showing nothing but kindness, love, and compassion to his children.
Martin enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially camping, fishing, and traveling. He cherished the time spent making memories with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Geer.
Martin is survived by his two children, Matthew Geer and Kaci Geer; his mother, Yvonne Geer; his brother, John Geer; the mother of his children, Kelly Stasch; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Martin will be remembered and deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150, on September 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150, on September 12, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery, Tunnel Hill Road, Georgetown, Indiana 47122, on September 12, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
