Mary J. Hancock Caufield

Mary was born July 13, 1948 in New Albany. She was a 1966 graduate of Providence High School, a long time employee of PNC Bank (formerly National City Bank), a member of the Floyd County Democrat Women's Club, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and many various local organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Catherine Goodman Hancock; and her brothers, Charles and Louis Hancock.

Survivors include her son, Todd Caufield (Melissa) ; daughter, Tiffany Caufield (fiancé Robert) ; three grandchildren, Raegan, Kaylan, and Sidney Caufield; siblings, Eddie Hancock, Joy Sprigler, Nick Hancock (Kate), Madonna Burke (Tom), Glenn Hancock (Linda), fiancé, Albert "Sonny" Rice ; and 18 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Prayer service at 7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation is 5:00 pm -8:00 pm Wednesday and 11:00 am - 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, IN.
