Mary Eva Kampschaefer Curry

Mary Eva Curry, 89 years of age died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at The Villages of Historic Silvercrest. Mary was born August 11, 1928 to the late Otto and Etta Kampschaefer and raised in Evansville, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Curry and sisters, Kay Edwards and Margaret Butler. Survivors include her daughters, Jill Finn (Jerry), JoAnn Stewart (Linda); son, Jon Curry (Donna); grandchildren, Thomas E. Sonne, Jr., Christine Sonne Costello, Katherine Finn, Jerome Finn, Christopher Curry, Collin Curry, Colin Receveur, Ben Stewart, Brian Stewart; 7 great grandchildren. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff at Silvercrest and Kindred Hospice for the compassionate care given to Mary during her stay. A Reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. A private burial of her ashes will take place later at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
