Mary F. Geckler, 85 years of age, passed away on March 9, 2021 at her home in Greenville, Indiana. She was born on January 24, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Chester and Katherine (Hildebrand) Saunders. Mary and her husband owned and operated Geckler Pools.
Survivors include her husband, Dieter Geckler; children, Karen Hall (Scott), Gretchen Brown (Kelley), and Dieter Geckler, Jr. (Nicole); sisters, Caroline Griffin and Vera Johnson; grandchildren, Lindsay Foster, Jeremy Geckler, Sophia Geckler, Kendall Brown, and Landon Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
A reception of family and friends will be 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with a Memorial Service to begin at 7:00 pm Saturday.
The family would like to express deep appreciation to the caring nurses with Amedisys Hospice.
