I have lots of childhood memories at their home on hwy 60. She was always a special aunt, always a smile on her face . Always asking about how you were doing and encouraging you to try new things .
Uncle George and Aunt Mary Jean were a true team that always supported me as well as their kids and may more. Love , Diane

George my prayers are with you and family. Mary Jean was always a very special person for me. I loved having time to talk with her at the dances. She always had a smile and a good word for all. I will miss sharing emails with her. Her friendship will always be remembered.

Oh how the Memphis Warman crew all loved Aunt Mary Jean. She was always so lively and fun. I will never forget Steve and I being at their house, during a tornado. When it was over, she smiled and asked if we wanted to go exploring. We were driving around town looking at the damage. Uncle George is driving like he was headed to a fire, we were slightly worried, but she just smiled and kept talking. We survived.
You couldn't go to her house without her serving you some delicious meal. That was always accompanied by a lot of great stories and many, many laughs.
I loved that they square danced. I was so fascinated by it all. What I loved the most was the love she had for Uncle George and the love he has for her. They would hold hands like a young dating couple, even after many, many years of marriage. Rest in peace sweet Aunt Mary Jean. Say hello to all of our loved ones that have gone on before us. We will see you again one day!

Whether it was making me and my brothers hotdogs and cutting them like squid, laying down a mattress pad in the living room for sleepovers, saving boxes so we can make our crafts, yelling at grandpa to quit driving crazy, or something as little as making sure we had a nightlight in case we had to use the restroom in the middle of the night; you always knew how to make us smile. And while I wish you could be here forever, I’m so happy to be able have those memories that I will forever remember you by. Thank you for being a huge part of my life. Say hi to Denise for me. I love you grandma!!!
