Obituary of Mary Lucille "Bobo" Turner Moore
Funeral Services for Mary Lucille “Bobo” Turner Moore, 79, of Clarksville, will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 29th at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, with cremation and interment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, August 24th at Wedgewood Nursing Home, Clarksville, Indiana surrounded by family and friends. She was born July 15, 1933 to the late Raymond Chester and Mary McDermott Turner. Lucille retired from Manheim Louisville Auto Auction after 41 years of service. At St. Anthony’s Church in Clarksville she served in many different roles including Parish Council, School Board, Pre-school teacher and CCD instructor. She was an avid reader and loved her animals and children. She is survived by her son, Charley (Barbara) Moore, Louisville; daughters, Deb (Bill) Moore, Clarksville, Terri (Van) Vance, Clarksville, Angie (Ken) Lear, Lanesville, and Marianne (James) Hyden, Shepherdsville, KY. She has 13 grandchildren: Stephanie Moore and Charlie, Christine (Jeff) Johnson, Sebrina Ragains, Maren (Jimmy) VanWinkle, Stephanie (Brian) Coomer, Jennifer Lear, Miraya (Ryan) Mayden, Nick Snelling and Erin, Brennan Fell and Candace, Carleigh Fell, Dillan, Dalton and Mattisyn Hyden. She has 9 great grandchildren: Tyler and Bailey VanWinkle, Tanner Mayden, Aubrey Pierce, Dylan Coomer, Sunny and Julian Ragains, and Meghan and Tommy Johnson. Her husband, Charlie Moore, and grandchildren, Joe Lear and Scott Siegel, preceded her in death. A special thanks to the many Wedgewood employees who took care of her, including but not limited to Donna, Debbie, Candice, Niza, Roberta, Kathy and Cassie. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28th at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany.
