I've known Mary from Bingo. Mary's favorite pull tabs was the horse race, and hot shots!!!! My fondest memory of Mary was when I working the concession stand and she offered to help me because I fell behind. She told me her and her husband were restaurant owners and she had experience. Mary always helped us clean up after bingo. She didn't have too but, that was part of her character. Mary would talk about her life and her family she had such a beautiful soul. She loved playing bingo!!!! We are sadden by her passing and we are going to miss her. Vanessa

My first memory of Mary was when she was beating the lights out of my team at bowling in one of the leagues here in New Albany. Her team was pretty good, but it was Mary's day. She was fairly new to New Albany but, as has been noted elsewhere, she had already joined four bowling leagues! As we shared the lanes and chatted it emerged that she was an Episcopalian and she ask where I went to church in town? Invited to St. Paul's, she showed up the very next Sunday and, with the exception of illness, has been there ever since.

Mary was a woman of great humor and grace.
Our congregation will miss her.
I will miss her.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family in their loss.
May hers, and the souls of all the faithfully departed, rest in peace.

I also sat in the same church pew with Mary. I was shocked to hear of her passing. I will miss seeing her every Sunday. She was always sweet and friendly. My sympathy to her family.

Mary was a loving, faithful member of St. Paul's Episcopal, New Albany. She was truly a ray of sunshine and hope for all of us. We sat on the same pew and we'd always go up for communion together. She will be greatly missed.

Mary was such a ray of sunshine. She was full of laughter, love and kindness. She was a giving soul that will be forever remembered. She was always up for going and doing, and having fun. We had such good times together, just not enough.
I suppose one of my favorite memories involved Mary and my cat. Mary had used some bengay on her shoulder one night to ease an ache, and my cat was a little crazy when it came to minty scents. Mary had gone in to lay down and my cat proceeded to follow the scent of bengay, hopped in bed with her,
started nipping at her shoulder and nuzzling aggressively.. Mary shrieked,
jumped up and yelled for somebody to get the cat!!... She started laughing once she found out why he was after her, but was always on the look-out for the cat when the bengay was in use! She called him crazy cat after that, but we always had a good laugh about that night.

Rest peacefully, Mary.. You will always live in our hearts. Love you.

Miss Mary was a bowler thru and thru. She was always ready to go to a tournament and bowled in so many leagues. I remember her going to Vegas 2 years ago and I pushed her in a wheelchair cuz there was so much walking to do. She was like a mom to me and we would look out for each other. She will be greatly missed, but I know she is in heaven probably having a grand ole time. I always shared my beer with her, so this ones for you Mary! Miss you already!
