Mary Lou Routh

Mary Lou Routh, 90, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Mary was born in Columbia, Kentucky on July 18, 1932, to the late B.F. and Jeanettie Cooley. She was retired from Brockway Plastic and Pillsbury. She had numerous hobbies over the years, including bowling, CB radio communication, movies, music and eventually Farmville. She spent countless hours working on her farms. and was a member of Park Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harrell G. Routh; daughters, Peggy Ann Routh and Sharon Brown; great granddaughter, Paige Luallen; and siblings, Benjamin, James, Lewis, Carl, Paul, Estel, L.Z. Cooley, Grace Hoover and Faye Poole. Mary is survived by a son, Charles "Frank" Routh (Sherry); grandchildren, Christopher Luallen (Keri), L'Oreal Edelin (Robin), Darrell Harvey, Toni Dale Staser Salisbury (Chris), Charlie Routh (Kristi), Kenny Routh (Katie) and Amy Staser Clark (Larry); fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
