I always remember Uncle Bud as a kind sweet soft spoken person. In my adult years I remember my dad Tommy McKinney always considered Bud as a best friend and although Dad and Mom lived in California, dad would drive back to visit family every year during the 1980s. Although I didn't get to visit Uncle Bud and Aunt Willadeen much due to distance, I remember when he surprised me when he first emailed me about 2000! I emailed him back and said "Uncle Bud I'm so proud of you! You got a computer and email!" Not many his age did. When my mom Dorothy turned 100 in 2016, we drove up from our home in Arkansas so she could visit our Ohio and Kentucky family. Stopping by to visit Bud and Willadeen at their home in New Albany IN was on the radar and a real treat. Aunt Willadeen made her good homemade vegetable soup. Although in their 90s both had excellent memories and I loved hearing family stories they remembered. We will see you again someday Uncle Bud because of our hope in Christ. I love you. Your niece, Cheryl
