Michael James Smith, 47, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was born October 20th, 1965 in New Albany to Eagle and Mildred (McCauley) Smith. Michael was an electrician and loved his children and family very much. He loved NASCAR, deer hunting and the outdoors and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Smith.

A reception of family and friends will be from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm Thursday August 1st with his Memorial Service at 7:00 pm Thursday at the Kraft Funeral Service Chapel 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Interment will be private in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
