Michael T. Stewart

Michael T. Stewart, 57, died Saturday June 29, 2013 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born August 13, 1955 in Clark County, Indiana and was a former resident of Clarksville, Indiana before moving to Lexington, Kentucky where he had resided since 1989. Michael was an artist, comedian, storyteller, pirate and a true Renaissance Man. He loved people and the many diversities that people represented. He was very active in Renaissance Fairs throughout the region and was a member of the “Last Genuine Leather Guild”. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a lover of people as well as animals and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his son, Ryan T. Stewart; sisters, Sharon Perez (Joe), Patricia Griley and Laura Sandy (Don); best friend, Tami Boyd; and many nieces and nephews.

A reception of family and friends will be from 5:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Friday July 5, 2013 with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm Friday July 5th, in the Chapel at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana.
