Nancye A. Embry

Nancye A. (Caroland) Embry, 71 years of age died January 12, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital. Nancye was born February 15th 1942 in Christian Co. Ky. to the late Herman R. and Mary M. (Satterwhite) Caroland. She was a former employee of M. Fine & Son and a retired Nurse Tech from Clark Memorial Hospital. Nancye was a lifelong Christian who loved her husband and family and especially enjoyed holiday shopping on “Black Friday” along with her flowers and the birds in her yard. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Sanford “Sonny” Caroland and sister Berenda Jane Fouts.

Survivors include:

Husband of 52 years: J. Shelby Embry Sr.

Three Children: Pamela S. Heath and husband Mark

Jamie S. Embry Jr. and wife Beverly

John T. Embry Sr.

Five Grandchildren: Mary M. and Allison E. Heath, John T. Embry Jr., and

Lacey M. and Shelby A. Embry.

Also Survived by Several Nieces and Nephews

Reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday evening at the Kraft Funeral Chapel. Committal service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
