The memories of Wayne will live with me forever. Wayne has showed me from an early age what the meaning of family and love is. Even before him and Saundra were married he loved me as if I were his own child. He never pushed any of us kids away, it’s not until now that I understand why. Wayne was sent to our family to show us what love means, to teach us how to be kind, and that family, blood or not, is all that matters in this life. Wayne was our angel long before we knew. Love you Wayne and I will miss you until we meet again. Don’t stay away, you can visit me anytime. 🕊

Where do I start?? We had so many good times and memories for as long as I can remember! From vacations, to baseball games, to pool parties and sleep overs at their house! Wayne was one of a kind uncle ! He always treated me like just as he would Matt. I was his baby girl ! I will miss you forever and cherish every single memory we shared together. Your were the best uncle to a Tara Beara. I love you Wayne until we meet again!

I started working at Louisville Water about 1 year before Wayne did. I've worked closely with Wayne since 2008 and got to know him very well. What a swell guy he was. Wayne was a hard worker, conscientious, efficient, dependable, easy to get along with, humble and very good at drafting. Saying Wayne was a very good drafter doesn't do him justice. I don't know of a Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) problem that Wayne couldn't solve. Wayne could almost read my mind and knew just how to present a drawing. I will truly miss him.

My condolences to his family and friends.

Wayne always had a smile on his face, a very happy, go lucky guy. I didn't have many interactions with him over the past years but we always spoke in passing or at company functions. He will be greatly missed by his Louisville Water Company family.

Wayne has always been such a great uncle. Because of him I will always remember "Blow up your boss" fridays and how we would just laugh and laugh. I will cherish those memories forever.

Wayne was one of the best you would ever meet! We love Wayne, Saundra and Matt like family. Wayne was a good role model and father figure to my niece and nephew. Especially when they needed that in their lives. We could never thank him enough for all that he did for them. He was an amazing dad. You could always see the love and pride he had for Matt in all that he did and accomplished. He will be greatly missed! One of our favorite memories of Wayne was the night we had our Halloween scavenger hunt. It was such a fun night. Wayne didn’t care how crazy he might have looked doing some of tasks on our hunt. It was a fun night full of laughs. We will miss you Wayne and we know we will see you again one day!
