Norma Jean Davis

Norma Jean Davis, passed surrounded by her family in her home on April 15, 2026, at the age of 94. Jean was born on December 12, 1931, in Marshall, Illinois, to the late Ben Drummond and Thelma Lillian Drummond. She was a lifetime member and former Sunday school teacher at Silver Street United Methodist Church, New Albany, Indiana.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Dr. John D. "Jack" Davis DVM; a granddaughter, her two brothers; and three sisters.

Jean is survived by their children; Barbara Labaty (Frank), Douglas Davidson (Ada), Jacqueline Fouts (Steve), Dorothy Burton, Timothy Davidson (Mary), and Gail Oakes (Doug); her fourteen wonderful grandchildren; her 24 loving great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and many extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm.

Jean will be privately entombed at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
