Pamela Sue Lofton, 77, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Pam was born in New Albany, Indiana on September 4, 1947 to the late Lee F. Boman and Wilma Boman. She was retired from BellSouth Telephone Company. After her retirement from BellSouth, she and her sister, Twyla had a business cleaning homes for over 25 years. She enjoyed shopping, lunch dates, music, old movies, theater and was an avid pet lover. She loved clippin' coupons and getting deals. More than anything, she loved people and people loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Leland Kent Boman; a sister, Rhonda Hopkins; sister-in-law, Gail Boman and granddog, Gus.
Pam is survived by her loving daughter, Brandi Sherrell (Scott); grandchildren, Garrett Sherrell and Grace Sherrell; siblings, Darrell Keith Boman, Mary Charlene Hocker (L.B.) and Twyla June Foster (Dave); numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Mark Hopkins and her beloved granddogs, Buster and Jerald.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pam's memory may be made to American Cancer Society or the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter.
