Patricia E. Mattingly, 80, passed away on September 15, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on April 4, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Latney Blunk and Anna R. (Bratcher) Bryant. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and living a full life surrounded by family. Pat had an ability to make her family and friends feel her love, and they will carry that with them forever. She will be dearly missed, and comfort will be taken in knowing she is with those who preceded her.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband, Joseph Mattingly Sr.; her daughter, Tammie Jo (Mattingly) Brewer; her sons-in-law, Randy Canada, James Roberts, and Dave Brewer.
Patricia is survived by her children, Billie Jo Canada, Joseph "Lil Joe" Mattingly Jr., Melodie Jo Wethington (Jason), Amy Jo Mattingly, and Donald Joseph Mattingly; her wonderful grandchildren, Michael, Julie-Anna, Matthew, Alexusn, James, Sidney, Amber (Andy), James Jr., David, Andrew, Joseph III, Natalie, Justen (Josie), Jasen (Hope), Jacob, Jordan, Wyatt, Luke, Olivia, Kaylie, Logan, Donald Jr., Autumn, August, and Ethan; her 18 great grandchildren, her siblings, Joyce (LeRoy), Billy (Gina), and Danny Sr. (Suzie); her nieces, Michelle (David) and Susan; her nephews, Tony, Zack, and Danny Jr., and many extended family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
