Patsy Slaughter born June 23, 1933 in New Albany, IN, died peacefully at home on Christmas morning 2023, surrounded by family. The youngest of nine, she was preceded in death by her beloved mother Jennie and her eight siblings. She is survived by her son Ric Smith (Carey) of Metairie, LA, and her daughter Lisa Potts of New Albany as well as her grandchildren Hunter Potts and Klay Potts. She was the greatest mother and grandmother anyone could ask for and will be missed dearly. No services are planned per her wishes.
