Paul Eugene Tucker

PAUL EUGENE TUCKER unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 64 on March 31, 2014 at his secondary home in Providence, Rhode Island. Paul had a B.S. in Radio and Television and a Master’s in Science degree in Education from Indiana University, Bloomington. He worked at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago and then retired from Humana, Inc. after serving 28 years as their Director of Audio Visual Services. Paul enjoyed woodworking, was an avid book reader, loved music from all genres, and played the bass and guitar. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Roland Tucker. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Lisa DeVon; his mother, Doris Tucker; his son and daughter-in-law, Kris and Katie Tucker; and a newborn granddaughter, Eve Isabel Tucker. Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be at 10:00 am Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky. Paul’s dream was to set up a college scholarship fund for his granddaughter, Eve. So, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to the Eve Isabel Tucker College Fund.
