Funeral services for Pauline Sauer Glotzbach, 90, of New Albany, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
She was born July 10, 1922 to the late Carl and Veronica Daming in Rockport. She retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s aide and was a lifetime member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Marian Guild and the Legion of Mary.
Survivors include a daughter, D. Joan Sauer; son, Tom Sauer and his wife, Jane; granddaughters, Leslie Sauer, and Erika Moorman and her husband, Luke; great-grandson, Thomas Moorman; sister, Dorothy Patten; stepsons, Joseph Sauer and his wife, Laura, B.J. and his wife, Pam, Larry and his wife, JoAnn, Steve and his wife, Marilyn, Tom, and David Glotzbach; stepdaughters, Rosalee Flanigan and her husband, Dave, Carolyn Olds and her husband, Ralph, Janet Zoeller and her husband, Rick, Judy Grant and her husband, Dutch, Mary Wright and her husband, Terry, and Cathy Kruer, as well as many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Sauer and Bernard Glotzbach, a daughter ,Veronica Sauer, a son, Nick Sauer, stepsons Paul and Ricky Glotzbach, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary service at 4 p.m. today, at Kraft Funeral Services, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to VistaCare Hospice, or St. Vincent DePaul Society at Holy Family Parish.
