Phyllis J. “PT” Troyer, 91 years of age died Thursday, February 16, 2018 at her home in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born August 14, 1926 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late William and Dora (Chalfant) Pinkerton. During her lifetime, Phyllis was employed at A & P Grocery, B & O Railroad, Stewart Brothers Furniture, John Manville, Western Electric, Falls City Boiler, and Horseshoe Casino. She volunteered at both Clark Memorial Hospital and Baptist Health Floyd. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne R. Troyer; sister, Louise Allen; brother, William “Billy” Pinkerton.
Survivors include her children, Jacqueline Spellman, Edward Hanes (Nelda), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
